As Mayor, I will continue working to ensure that Media remains a thriving, connected, safe, and welcoming community for years to come. I hope to earn your support and your vote!
Media has been a leader in environmental initiatives, and I want to keep that momentum going. Protecting our parks and trees, expanding our borough-wide composting program, and supporting the work of the Environmental Advisory Council are just a few ways we can continue making Media a greener place to live. Sustainability can also be family friendly! As Mayor, I will always support Media's Donald Trusty Tot Lot, which has its own canopy along with trees and greenspace. I was proud to support our Bird City and Bee City USA designations and will keep championing programs that help our environment and our community.
Media is America’s First Fair Trade Town, and that’s something we should all be proud of! I’m committed to preserving this legacy by supporting local entrepreneurs and ensuring our fair trade and independently-owned businesses continue to thrive. I’ll work with Borough Council to keep the Sustainable Storefront Program strong and advocate for policies that promote economic resilience and sustainability.
One of my first experiences with Media’s amazing sense of community was Dining Under the Stars—and I was hooked! Events like these, whether organized by Visit Media or the Media Borough Recreation Department, are essential for bringing people together and supporting our local economy. I’ll continue to promote and support these gatherings so that Media remains a lively and welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.
When I moved to Media in 2013, I didn’t need a car—everything I needed was within walking distance or accessible by public transportation. I want to make sure others can enjoy that same convenience. I’ll advocate for better bus service, improved daylighting for pedestrians and drivers, and bike-friendly policies that make it easier for people to get around safely.
Public safety is a priority, and I deeply appreciate the hard work of the Media Police Department. I have a great working relationship with our officers and will continue to support their efforts in keeping Media a safe and welcoming place for all. I also want to work with them to develop a Vision Zero Plan—a strategy to make our streets safer for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
One of the things I love most about Media is how easy it is to get around on foot. Safe, well-maintained sidewalks don’t just make our town look nice—they encourage people to walk, connect with neighbors, and support local businesses. I’ll continue pushing for pedestrian safety improvements, like better crosswalks, accessible pathways, and traffic-calming measures that make our streets safer for everyone.
